The English language teaching market in the eight
major English language destinations worldwide took
another battering in 2021, with global US$ revenue
down by a further -17 per cent. Malta and South
Africa were the only destinations to see an increase
in student weeks in 2021 while other destinations saw
numbers and weeks continue to fall. Bethan Norris
         crunches the numbers.
