ESL Boarding Academy

Pickering College’s ESL Boarding Academy o ers a full-year program
designed to accelerate language acquisition for students who
do not yet meet our traditional boarding program’s English
requirements. Students earn eight Ontario Secondary School
credits, take the TOEFL Jr test, and explore Canadian culture
through excursions. They develop key learning skills such as public
speaking, group work, and research synthesis.

Evenings and weekends include boarding activities, university
visits, and community outreach. Students also enjoy outdoor
experiences year-round on our main campus and at Blue &
Silver Farm. Now in its third year, the program provides a strong
foundation for future studies in Canada.
