elcome to the fifth
edition of the ST
WSecondary School
Awards, a fantastic event
that gives special recognition
to those working in the
international secondary sector
and the contribution they make to
the study travel industry. I'm sure all 85 nominees,
comprising schools, agents, guardianship providers,
service providers and associations, feel incredibly
proud to have made this year's shortlist, and so they
should! Thank you to all those that took the time to
vote and support this ever-growing community!
The Placement Provider Award makes its cat-
egory debut and recognises the growing number
of specialist organisations placing students into
secondary programmes that utilise the facilities of a
high school partner. The winners of all 15 categories
will be revealed on Friday 25th April at ST Alphe Sec-
ondary Focus London in a brand new awards venue,
the London Marriot Hotel Grosvenor Square, which
promises to deliver a delicious three-course meal
and a night full of celebration and dancing!
Did you know, 74 per cent of international
students at surveyed high schools were
advised by agents in 2023/24, highlight-
ing the importance of the agent/high
school dynamic. For more sector
