elcome to the fourth
year of the ST Secondary
WSchool Awards, where we
honour good practice in the field of
international secondary education.
You will find within these pages a list
of 71 Finalists in 14 categories, who
received the most votes from their school
and agent partners. While there can only be one winner for
each category, every Finalist here should feel very proud
to be listed as it means that they are providing the best
service to their business partners, which therefore means
the best service to their students.
The winners will be announced in a glitzy awards
ceremony on 19th April 2024, during the ST Alphe
Secondary Focus London conference at the Park Plaza
London Riverbank hotel. We hope to see many of you
there to celebrate your achievements with your colleagues
and business partners.
We know that international students are increasingly
seeking an overseas secondary school experience,
whether for short-term language and cultural immersion
or the beginning of a long-term process of getting into
higher education overseas. Statistics from our annual
secondary school survey this year revealed that 73
per cent of the students at participating schools were
recruited by agents in 2023, an increase on 68 per cent in
2019. Agents are an essential part of this sector and good
relationships between agents and schools are vital for
student success. The ST Secondary School Awards shines
a spotlight on best practice in this area.
