Welcome to the 13th ST Star Awards nominee
list! This year promises to be our biggest event
yet in a new venue – Grosvenor House, A JW
Marriott Hotel in Mayfair. As well as being one of
the most prestigious hotels in London, Grosvenor
House also has a fascinating history – see pages
24-25 for the full story.
This year's awards has two new categories,
introduced to reflect the changing demands of
the industry. The ST Star High School Chains &
Groups category aims to reward good practice throughout the secondary
sector and by separating the individual providers from the chains into
two different categories, we hope to
recognise all the different business
models in this sector. Page by page
Similarly, our ST Leading Star Award
aims to keep all our Super Stars in the Opinion 1
spotlight by entering all 21 of them into The shortlist 9
one category to compete against each

Finally, it gives me great pleasure to announce that there are four new
potential Super Stars among the nominees this year. NZLC in the ST Star
English Language School Southern Hemisphere category; Linguaviva and
Dilit - International House, both in the ST Star Italian Language School
category; and Language International in the ST Star Agency North America
